Our Valuation Services

Market/Auction Valuations

If you require an auction (market) value for your goods we require a photo of the item and relevant dimensions, plus any history and general condition. Alternatively you are welcome to bring in the item/s to our offices, we advise booking an appointment with a specialist first. As well as offices in both Wellington and Auckland, our experts travel regularly throughout New Zealand collecting and appraising items for auction.

Note: In most circumstances we cannot conduct valuations over the phone. Complementary market valuations are only provided when your intention is to sell through auction, otherwise a fee maybe incurred.

Insurance Valuations

This valuation typically reflects replacement value in a ‘retail’ environment. This can be conducted through images & descriptions supplied, physically bringing items into us for inspection or alternatively onsite visits can be arranged. Fee is dependent on the time involved and any travel costs. All insurance valuation reports are in writing.

Estate Division/Probate Valuations

This is typically a written valuation based on market values. This can be completed on site or through images supplied. Fee is dependent on the time involved and any related travel costs.
